Overview

Fantasy Radio UK respects your privacy. The Fantasy Radio UK Android app is designed to let you listen to the station, view station information, access the programme schedule, open Fantasy BlaB!, and use other station links without creating an account.

The app does not require you to register, does not sell personal information, and does not use third-party advertising or profiling SDKs.

Information the app accesses

The app may connect to Fantasy Radio UK servers to retrieve:

• the live radio stream;
• programme and current-show information;
• remote app settings and feature switches;
• promotional banner information;
• seasonal, memorial or other optional background images;
• station links, announcements and related content.

Personal information

The Fantasy Radio UK app does not ask for your name, address, date of birth, account details, contacts, photos, precise location, microphone access or camera access.

The app does not create a user profile and does not require a login.

Technical information

When the app connects to Fantasy Radio UK servers, normal web-server or streaming-server logs may record technical information such as an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser/app user-agent, and basic device/network information. This information may be processed for security, reliability, fault diagnosis, service operation and aggregate usage measurement.

Fantasy Radio UK does not use this technical information to build advertising profiles or sell information to advertisers.

Cookies and tracking

The Android app itself does not use advertising cookies or cross-app tracking technology.

If you choose to open external websites from the app, including social-media services, Buy Me a Coffee, Fantasy BlaB!, or other third-party sites, those services may apply their own cookies, analytics or privacy practices. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave the app.

Third-party services and links

The app may provide links to third-party services such as social-media platforms, support/donation services, websites or other external pages. Fantasy Radio UK is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services.

Data sharing

Fantasy Radio UK does not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for targeted advertising. Technical information may be processed by hosting, streaming or infrastructure providers only where necessary to operate and secure the service.

Data retention

Any server logs or technical records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, diagnostics, service operation, legal obligations or legitimate administrative purposes, after which they may be deleted or rotated in accordance with the relevant hosting or service settings.

Fantasy Radio UK uses HTTPS for its website, app configuration and related web services where supported. We take reasonable steps to protect the systems used to provide the app and station services.

Children

The app is a general radio-listening application and is not designed to collect personal information from children. No account is required to use the app.

Your choices

You can stop using the app at any time by closing or uninstalling it. The app also provides local controls for options such as theme, startup splash screen, sleep timer and custom backgrounds. These preferences are stored locally on your device.
